Chinese Forget-me-Not - ‘Ms Marilyn’
Cynoglossum Amabile
In 2025 I only did one sowing of Ms Marilyn as a trial. First time growing forget-me-nots and now I clearly know where the name comes from . Anyone else have harvest nightmares? Just make sure you keep the seeds off your clothes during seed harvest. You will find them attached to your clothes forever and never forget this one!
But guess what…I’ll still grow her. I adore this periwinkle blue! In fact I’ll be doing two rounds in 2026. Sweet seed origin story from 3 Porch Farm.
Zone 8a/b Western Washington
Seeds started week 5 (1/27)
Harden off week 9 (2/25)
Transplant week 12 (3/19)
Harvest window end: week 25-30
- a few shorter reblooms but once seed production was underway they were done.
2026 will add another succession at week 12 to see what blooms into September feels like.
