Love in a puff (aka Balloon plant)
Cardiospermum halicacabum
A wonderfully interesting viney plant to scramble up a trellis or drape from a hanging pot. We love to tuck these in between our other climbing squashes to add interest as the squash loose leaves the love-in-a-puff fills in with their whimsical little air puffed lanterns.
Makes a great garden interest or can be cut and added for trailing textural interest in compote and high style arrangements.
