Nigella, Love-in-a-Mist

‘Love-in-a-mist, transformer’ is another funky flower pod. Flower stage is fleeting but the seed pod adds funky texture fresh or dry.
 
This variety of nigella i have had success starting in seed trays if you give minimal disturbance during transplanting out in the garden. Or just direct sow when temps have warmed in spring.
 
**In the hectic hustle of the 2025 season I did not manage to catch any photos of fresh Transformer.  The only pic I have is of a few pods saved after seed cleaning.  You can do a simple search to see fresh version.  Pics to be updated in 2026.
