Come join us in the garden for an evening among the flowers. We will gather in the golden hours to share in the delights of learning how to harvest, condition and arrange our beautiful garden blooms.
 
Choose between a small or medium compote size vase. A small size is suitable for our market size bouquets typically between 10-14 stems, and the medium would pair well with the CSA size which is approx. 16-20 stems. We will not adhere strictly to this formula (in fact most likely using 2-3x more flowers during the workshop) but we will learn how to bring home your market or CSA wrapped bouquets and how to arrange them into either compote vases or regular mason jar style vases. I will share my tips and tricks for using mechanics for compote style vases giving you the confidence to create low centerpiece or table style arrangements.
 
Mechanics and supplies will include: small or medium compote vase, small or medium flower frog, wire mesh and the understanding and use of floral putty and tape to hold your stems into a shallow vessel.
 
We will gather together at the outdoor tables (weather permitting), focal, filler and greenery will be foraged spending some time in the garden learning about how to select and harvest certain types of flowers and foliage. We will wander and hunt for any extra hidden treasures to add to your arrangement for any finishing touches. Let your creativity shine as you embrace how the garden inspires your unique vision!
 
Light snacks (charcuterie) and beverages will be provided. Sunset ambience in the company of lovely humans who love flowers and gathering with friends.
 
Please bring a few layers for our time outside.  And considering the time is around dinner you can bring anything extra you personally need in addition to our snack tray.
