This is one of the most unique colors of sweet peas available. It’s hauntingly romantic in its dusty color shifting tones. One moment it’s a dusty mauve rose and the next its a brownish dusty pink. It’s variation on the same color vibe is the same which will literally stop you in your tracks and demand you
It seems to elude people with its temperament as a garden diva. Some people have described the germination of seeds to be fickle. And from my experience there just seems to be a large variable to the rate of germination with some being more eager and some much slower by over a week or longer. In addition to this seed production is stingy. On average a seed pod will produce 2 seeds per pod. While a more eager producer can average about 10 per pod. It’s why you will see most seed availability to be on a limit of one per purchase so to offer a level playing field to get into the most hands.

Sweet peas appreciate the slow and cool of late winter. Be careful where you have these planted as rodents love to winter snack on young shoots.
